Mum on the drums
There was a steel band at this wedding. During the summer when the sun is shining and all the guests are outside a steel band really compliments the feel of the wedding. Gives off a lovely holiday feel. Bride’s mum decided she wanted to have a go on the bongo drum so the drummer went and had a seat and left mum to it. It was so funny.
I had a look at the scene and felt like when I framed it I needed it to come from the drummers perspective because the moment was humorous both for how into it mum was getting but also that the band member swapped seats with her and was watching. So I framed the shot with mum in focus mid action but with the band members head in the foreground to really tell the story of what was happening.
