FOXTAIL BARNS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Covering Olli and Ellies’s wedding was a real privilege as a wedding photographer. The couple celebrated at Foxtail Barns in Staffordshire. It is an excellent location for weddings, and I’ve consequently worked there several times now. It’s the latest venue for the Ensarb company and I always enjoy working with them, having shot over 200 weddings at The Ashes nearby.
30+ FOXTAIL BARNS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS WITH A STORYTELLING STYLE
Family and friends present at the Ceremony Barn witnessed Elli and Olli exchange vows in an emotive ceremony. It’s a wonderful setting to get married it. Light and airy and full of character. The weather was surprisingly good for December. We managed to get out into the gardens and having some portraits among some of the most stunning scenery in the county.
Elli & Olli enjoyed spending quality time with their family and friends and loved every bit of their reception. The reception was full of energy and joyful laughter. So I waited for the perfect timing to photograph as many moments as I could.
GLORIOUS WEDDING IN A STUNNING LOCATION
Speakers made their speeches immediately after the wedding breakfast. It’s a difficult job for a wedding photographer to photograph speeches, because it’s all about the words, so you have to look for the emotions being reflected in the way people react to the words to tell the story.

Abbie & Charlotte
Same Sex Wedding at The Ashes Barns Staffordshire
This was such a lovely wedding. Deep in the throws of wedding restrictions meant we were still on a low number of guests. But that didn’t stop these two having a wonderful day. Abbie started her prep in the prep room at The Ashes and Charlotte arrived later on into the Old Dairy. It was really nice photographing some bridal prep in the Old Dairy. In case you didn’t know, this was the original prep room before accommodation came to the Ashes. It had been a long time since I had photographed a Bride getting ready in there so it was a nice touch and brought back good memmories.
Two Brides walking down the aisle
When you have a same sex wedding traditions often go out the window, which is always a nice change. So instead of Abbie or Charlotte standing at the bottom of the aisle and waiting for their partner they decided they would both take the walk with Dad in toe. It’s a proud moment for Dad when he gets to walk down the aisle with his daughter.
Wedding Photography At The Ashes with Two Brides
Wedding portraits are really no different with two Brides compared to a traditional couple. The poses might be slightly different but ultimately it’s about photographing two people in love in the location they picked for their special day. The Ashes makes it super easy because everywhere you look there’s a stunning background.
