The Reflection Reflected in the Reflection
A tough shot to get this one, quite often the camera struggles to focus on a reflection and the brides always move around loads whilst the look at their hair to see it from all angles. I reckon that I only make the shot maybe half the times I try and get it because of this and the fact that I don’t like to stage moments.
In this instance of the moment I really liked that I could get the reflection in context with the front of Lisa in the frame but control the depth of field so that the focus was on the reflection in the small mirror. It makes for an interesting composition as your brain works out what’s happening.
