Terms and Conditions
By accessing and using this service, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement.
1. Fees
The initial cost to develop your application will be £95 and includes 12 months of hosting on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and support.
After the initial 12 month period there will be an annual cost of £15 to continue hosting the application and providing technical support
2. Updates
In a 12 month period there will be 4 opportunities to update any data and images in your app. These will be on the following dates
January 31st
April 30th
July 31st
October 31st
3. App Store approval
Joe Scrivens can not be held responsible for App Store changes regarding approval of apps. Once the Apple and Google Play App stores have approved your app the balance for the development will be due. If for some reason either App Store will not approve your app then no monies will be charged for the work done.
Once the App Stores have approved the app and payment has been made if at a later date the App Stores change their policies and remove the app the following refund policy will apply:
Less than 1 month after initial upload – 100% refund of initial £95
Less than 6 months after initial upload – 50% refund of initial £95
Less than 9 months after initial upload – 25% refund of initial £95
Less than 12 months after initial upload – no refund
After the initial 12 months period if the change their policies and remove the app the following refund policy will apply:
Less than 1 month after the new 12 month period begins – 100% refund of annual £15
Less than 6 months after the new 12 month period begins – 50% refund of annual £15
Less than 9 months after the new 12 month period begins – 25% refund of annual £15
Less than 12 months after the new 12 month period begins – no refund
4. Google spreadsheet
Once the app has been developed it is your responsibility to look after your google spreadsheet. Joe Scrivens takes no responsibility for any errors in the data of your spreadsheet or if changes to the structure of your spreadsheet result in data errors in the app.
Joe Scrivens does not guarantee the google spreadsheet service. Joe Scrivens takes no responsibility if the Google spreadsheet service is offline for a period of time.
If Google remove the spreadsheet service completely then the following refund policy will apply:
Less than 1 month after initial upload – 100% refund of initial £95
Less than 6 months after initial upload – 50% refund of initial £95
Less than 9 months after initial upload – 25% refund of initial £95
Less than 12 months after initial upload – no refund
After the initial 12 months period if Google remove the spreadsheet service completely then the following refund policy will apply:
Less than 1 month after after the new 12 month period begins – 100% refund of annual £15
Less than 6 months after after the new 12 month period begins – 50% refund of annual £15
Less than 9 months after after the new 12 month period begins – 25% refund of annual £15
Less than 12 months after after the new 12 month period begins – no refund
5. Annual Fee
After the initial 12 month period a fee of £15 will be due annually to maintain your app and continue to offer 4 quarterly updates.An invoice for the £15 will be sent 12 months after your app goes live on the App Stores. Failure to pay the annual fee will result in the app being removed from the app stores.
Joe Scrivens reserves the right to change the Annual fee price after a 12 month period is over. You will be notified of these changes and can decide if you wish to continue using the service.
6. Cancelation
If for any reason you wish to cancel this service the following refund policy will apply:
Less than 2 weeks after initial upload – 100% refund of initial £95
Less than 6 months after initial upload – 25% refund of initial £95
More than 6 months after initial upload – no refund
After the initial 12 months period if the change their policies and remove the app the following refund policy will apply:
Less than 2 weeks after after the new 12 month period begins – 100% refund of annual £15
More than 2 weeks after after the new 12 month period begins – no refund
